Home Exchange in Ayia Napa
No verified homes listed in Ayia Napa yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Ayia Napa sits at the island's eastern edge, where limestone cliffs drop into turquoise coves and the smell of grilled halloumi drifts from tavernas at dusk. Beyond the beach clubs, you'll find the medieval monastery at the town's heart, its stone courtyard shaded by a centuries-old sycamore. Wander inland toward Cape Greco's sea caves or lose an afternoon in Konnos Bay, where the water glows sapphire even in October. Mornings here taste like warm bourekia from the bakery, evenings like cold Keo beer with your feet in the sand.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
When does Ayia Napa feel most like itself?
Late spring and early autumn bring warm seas without the midsummer crowds—May and September are golden. The shoulder months let you claim a sunbed at Nissi Beach before noon and actually hear the waves. Winter's quiet, many spots close, but locals reclaim the town and you'll find the best souvlaki without the queue. If you want beach weather and breathing room, aim for either side of high summer.
