Home Exchange in Palawan
No verified homes listed in Palawan yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Palawan unfolds like a fever dream of limestone cliffs plunging into turquoise shallows, lagoons so clear you can count the fish from your kayak, and jungle trails that hum with hornbills at dusk. El Nido's island-hopping routes have become legendary, but inland you'll find rice terraces, hidden waterfalls, and towns where the pace is set by the tide. Coron's shipwrecks draw divers from everywhere, while Puerto Princesa offers night markets scented with grilled seafood and lemongrass. This is the Philippines at its most cinematic—raw, beautiful, and still refreshingly unhurried once you venture beyond the postcard spots.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
When's the best time to visit Palawan?
Dry season runs from November through May, with March and April bringing the calmest seas—ideal for island hopping and diving. December to February feels cooler and less humid, perfect for trekking inland trails. The southwest monsoon arrives June through October, bringing afternoon rains and choppier waters, though green-season travellers find fewer crowds and lush, dramatic landscapes. El Nido and Coron stay accessible year-round, but some remote island tours pause during peak storms.
