Home Exchange in Dubai
No verified homes listed in Dubai yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Dubai rises from the desert in a shimmer of glass and ambition, where air-conditioned malls meet spice-scented souks and the call to prayer drifts over highways lined with date palms. Mornings taste like cardamom coffee and warm karak chai from corner cafés. Beyond the skyscraper canyons of Downtown and the Marina, neighbourhoods like Al Fahidi preserve wind-tower architecture and quiet courtyards, while Jumeirah's beachfront villas catch the Gulf breeze. Summers blaze; winters are mild and golden, perfect for wandering the Creek or watching dhows glide past at dusk.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
When's the best time to visit Dubai?
November through March brings the most comfortable weather—warm days, cool evenings, and almost no rain. This is when the city comes alive outdoors: beach clubs buzz, rooftop terraces fill, and desert excursions feel less punishing. Summer (June to September) is intensely hot and humid, though indoor attractions thrive year-round. If you're chasing deals and don't mind the heat, late spring and early autumn offer quieter streets and lower prices, with most life unfolding in climate-controlled comfort.
