Morocco unfolds like a love letter written in saffron and starlight. Wander hand-in-hand through Marrakech's rose-scented gardens, lose yourselves in the blue-washed alleyways of Chefchaouen, or watch the sun melt into the Sahara from a rooftop terrace built for two. The country rewards slow mornings over mint tea, long dinners that stretch past midnight, and the kind of unhurried exploration that deepens connection. From Atlantic surf towns to mountain kasbahs, Morocco offers couples a rare blend of intimacy and adventure—where every medina corner and desert dune becomes part of your shared story.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
What makes Morocco particularly romantic for couples?
Morocco's architecture of intimacy—hidden riads with private courtyards, hammams designed for lingering, rooftop terraces that frame the Atlas Mountains—creates natural pockets of togetherness. The culture itself celebrates hospitality and unhurried time: meals are multi-course rituals, tea service is an art form, and evenings come alive with music in lamplit squares. Coastal towns like Essaouira offer breezy seaside walks, while the Sahara provides profound silence under impossible stars. The sensory richness—leather, spices, tilework, call to prayer—gives couples endless small moments to share and remember.
