Home Exchange in Seville
No verified homes listed in Seville yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Seville moves to its own clock — late dinners under orange trees, the sudden crack of flamenco heels in a whitewashed courtyard, afternoons that slow to a standstill when the heat climbs. The Guadalquivir cuts through neighbourhoods thick with jasmine and tile, past the Moorish geometry of the Alcázar and the Gothic weight of the cathedral. Triana potters still work clay by hand; Santa Cruz's alleys twist into tiny plazas where old men argue over dominos. Come for Semana Santa or the Feria, or come when the city belongs to locals again — either way, you'll leave smelling of azahar and remembering how sunlight looks through wrought iron at five in the afternoon.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
When's the best time to visit Seville?
Spring — especially April and May — is Seville at its most intoxicating: orange blossom perfumes every street, temperatures hover in the low twenties, and the city pulses with Semana Santa processions and the Feria de Abril. Autumn (September to November) offers a gentler rhythm, warm enough for rooftop drinks but without the crowds. July and August see locals flee the furnace heat; if you come then, adopt the siesta like your life depends on it, and save sightseeing for early morning or after nine at night.
