Home Exchange in Córdoba
No verified homes listed in Córdoba yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Córdoba hums with a university-town energy that spills into its tree-lined streets and late-night cafés. Argentina's second city sits at the foot of the Sierras, where weekend asados happen on hillside terraces and the cuarteto beat drifts from open windows after dark. It's a place that rewards slow mornings—mate on a balcony in Güemes, bread from a panadería in Nueva Córdoba, the kind of rhythm you can't catch from a hotel lobby. The homes below open the door to that life.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 7 free credits — one full week — so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All conversations happen inside the SwappaHome platform — you never have to share your personal email or phone number to coordinate a swap. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
Which neighbourhoods in Córdoba feel most local?
Nueva Córdoba pulses with students and corner bars, while Güemes offers cobbled streets, vintage shops, and a bohemian edge. General Paz is quieter, tree-shaded, where families gather in plazas on Sunday afternoons. For hillside air and weekend retreats, the Sierras villages—Villa Carlos Paz, La Cumbre—are an hour's drive and feel like a different country altogether.
