Home Exchange in Rosario
No verified homes listed in Rosario yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Rosario wakes to the smell of medialunas and the low horn of barges pushing grain down the Paraná. This is Argentina's third city, but it refuses to perform like one — no grand capital gestures, just wide river views, art deco corners, and a café culture that treats conversation like a competitive sport. The neighbourhoods along the Costanera feel more like a string of small towns than a metropolis, each with its own bakery, its own rhythm, its own opinion about which parrilla does the best tira de asado. The homes below open the door to that rhythm.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 7 free credits — one full week — so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All conversations happen inside the SwappaHome platform — you never have to share your personal email or phone number to coordinate a swap. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
Which neighbourhoods in Rosario feel most local?
Pichincha and Fisherton hum with everyday life — markets, corner almacenes, families who've lived on the same block for generations. The Costanera and Parque España draw weekend crowds, but step a few blocks inland and you're in residential Rosario: tree-lined, unhurried, where the best empanadas come from the place with no sign. Echesortu and Alberdi hold onto working-class roots and some of the city's best traditional cantinas.
