No listings matched yet in Poland — be the first host
Poland has quietly become one of Central Europe's most compelling bases for remote work. Cities like Kraków, Warsaw, and Wrocław blend affordable living costs with genuinely fast fibre internet, a thriving café culture where laptops are welcome for hours, and coworking spaces that rival anything in Berlin or Lisbon. You'll find neighbourhoods with century-old architecture alongside modern infrastructure—think reliable public transport, late-night grocery stores, and a food scene that goes far beyond pierogi. The time zone works beautifully for overlapping with both European and East Coast US hours, and English is widely spoken in urban hubs.
Why Poland works for for digital nomads
Homes, not hotel rooms
Live in a real Poland home — kitchen, balcony, neighbourhood rhythm — instead of a generic hotel room.
Fair by design

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
What's the digital nomad infrastructure like in Polish cities?
Polish cities offer exceptional value for remote workers. Fibre internet is standard in most flats, often exceeding 300 Mbps. Coworking spaces are plentiful and affordable—expect €100–150 monthly for hot desks in well-equipped hubs. Café culture is laptop-friendly; many spots have strong WiFi and don't rush you after one coffee. Public transport is efficient and cheap, with monthly passes under €25. Groceries, gym memberships, and dining out cost significantly less than Western Europe, making Poland ideal for stretching a remote income while enjoying a high quality of life.
