Home Exchange in Agadir
No verified homes listed in Agadir yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Agadir stretches along Morocco's Atlantic coast with a wide crescent of sand and a rebuilt heart that hums with optimism. The city was reborn after 1960, so its soul lives less in old medinas and more in the rhythm of the corniche at dusk, the smell of grilled sardines from the port, and the pale geometry of its beachfront boulevards. Inland, the foothills of the Anti-Atlas rise in tawny folds. Evenings here taste of mint tea on a terrace, the ocean wind carrying salt and the call to prayer from Agadir Oufella's hilltop ruins.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
When's the best time to visit Agadir?
Agadir enjoys mild, sunny weather nearly year-round, making it a refuge from northern European winters and scorching Saharan summers alike. Spring and autumn bring the warmest swimming temperatures and fewer crowds, while winter remains pleasantly temperate—perfect for exploring the souks of Taroudant or hiking the Paradise Valley gorges. Summer can be busy with Moroccan families on holiday, but the Atlantic breeze keeps the heat gentle. Whenever you arrive, pack a light jacket for breezy evenings along the promenade.
