Home Exchange in Koh Phi Phi
No verified homes listed in Koh Phi Phi yet — the first hosts get priority placement.
Koh Phi Phi rises from the Andaman Sea like a limestone dream—sheer cliffs draped in jungle, turquoise bays that glow at dawn, and a car-free village where longtail boats replace taxis. Mornings smell of grilled satay and salt air. By day, snorkellers drift over coral gardens; by night, fire dancers spin on Loh Dalum Beach. The island's twin peaks and hidden coves reward early risers and those willing to hike beyond the main strip. It's raw, social, and unapologetically beautiful—a place that feels like a postcard until you're standing in it.

Frequently asked questions
How does home exchange on SwappaHome work?
You list your home, earn 1 credit for every night you host a guest, and spend those credits to stay at any other home in the network — always 1 credit per night. No money changes hands between members. New accounts start with 10 free credits, so you can book your first trip before you've hosted anyone.
Is it safe to swap homes with strangers?
Every member goes through identity verification before they can list or book. All messages run through our encrypted chat. After each stay, guests and hosts leave mutual reviews — reputation is the foundation of the whole community, and members with low ratings lose access. For extra peace of mind, we recommend confirming house rules in writing before arrival.
Do I need to swap directly with the same person?
No. SwappaHome uses a credit system, not direct 1-to-1 swaps. You can host a family from Berlin and use the credits you earn to stay with a completely different host in Tokyo six months later. It makes travel dates, destinations and group sizes much easier to match.
Can I join if I don't own a home?
Yes — you can earn credits by hosting in a spare room, a long-term rental (if your lease allows guests) or by gifting/receiving credits from other members. You can also buy a starter pack if you want to travel before you host. Listing your primary home is the most common path, but it's not the only one.
What's the best way to experience Koh Phi Phi beyond the crowds?
Wake early. The island transforms before 9am—empty beaches, glassy water, and local fishermen hauling in the morning catch. Hike the viewpoint trail at sunrise for panoramic views without the midday heat. Explore the quieter eastern bays by kayak or longtail, where limestone caves and coral reefs feel untouched. November to March offers calm seas and clear skies, though April's heat keeps the masses at bay. Tonsai Village buzzes at night, but the island's magic lives in its margins.
